Pure Love’s first ever show at Bush Hall seems to have been a massive hit with both the fans and Frank Carter himself who was beaming throughout and appeared to have switched personalities for his new project. This may not be a surprise considering the name and styling of the two piece group what is however slightly more interesting is their sound. I was expecting something like this because I read an interview in which Frank cites Nick Cave among his influences and to be honest I really like it, in some ways it offers some sort of retreat from my normal listening. The whole set can be found on YouTube and it is definitely worth a watch.
